Connect it have installed the 'Best of Breed' GRx SCADA system at a major supplier to Honda of the UK Manufacturing to enhance the production planning and control systems and drive towards elimination of mislabelling of stillages.

Working in partnership with Modular Controls, a leader in the field of process control and monitoring, and ProFace Limted, a global supplier of HMI (Human Machine Interface) devices Connect it have implemented an integrated solution which offers real time shop floor data processing.

HMI devices are attached to the machine tools to monitor the machine set up. The HMI talks to the SCADA system which is integrated into the production planning system giving the operator real time planning information.

The SCADA system is now being expanded to other shop floor machine tools and is planned to be integrated into the Intellident RFID data capture system to feed RFID tag data into the production control system and Honda.
